Candy

Lollipops are called Lollipops. Not "Taffies". They're not made of taffy, look like taffy, or have any of the general qualities that make taffy what it is. Please stop confusing me with your incorrect noun usage.

Also, they're sprinkles, not jimmies. They're called such because you sprinkle them on top of things. Have you ever heard of someone jimmying something on top of ice cream?

Actually, most ice cream places dip the ice cream into the bucket of sprinkles/jimmies. And the reason they're called "jimmies" id because a guy named Jimmy ran the first ever sprinkle-making machine. http://www.slashfood.com/2006/08/06/sprinkles-vs-jimmies/ Some people, however will tell you that a Jimmie is one type of the small candy while a Sprinkle is the other (some say jimmies=chocolate while sprinkles=colored candy, some say the other way around).

Ugh, research... I can take it from the lack of comment about taffies that you agree with that part, right?
